Paving truck towing asphalt trailer rolls on State Road 224

PARK CITY, Utah — A paving truck towing an asphalt trailer lost its brakes and rolled this morning on State Road 224.

According to a statement from the Park City Fire District (PCFD), the PCFD and Park City Police Department (PCPD) responded to the scene on State Road 224 near mile marker four at approximately 7:30 a.m.

“PC streets used a skid steer to move the trailer so the truck could be towed,” said a statement from the PCFD. “PCPD used a bypass road to keep traffic flowing.”

The asphalt trailer was still intact, and no injuries were reported. The driver of the truck signed a release on the scene.
