Vehicle rollover closes I-80 W at Jeremy Ranch, three injured
PARK CITY, Utah — On Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:10 p.m. emergency personnel responded to a vehicle rollover on I 80 West bound mile marker 142 near the Jeremy Ranch Exit. Park City Fire District Battalion Chief Darren Nelson said a “Single vehicle was traveling East bound, rolled through the median onto West Bound I 80 narrowly missing on coming traffic.” Multiple patients were in the vehicle. Extrication was needed to access patients. One patient was transported in serious condition, two other patients were transported in stable condition.
TownLift Reader Miguel Bautista was near the scene shortly after it happened and confirmed that a car “coming east bound crossed the highway and flipped on the Jeremy exit ramp, not hitting any other vehicle.” Bautista shared this video and photo of the incident.
As of 4:35 p.m. traffic was still slow moving on I-80 W. If you are heading down to Salt Lake City this afternoon check the UDOT Traffic site before heading out.
