Nitrocross Utah features all three of Ken Block’s Children

TOOLE, Utah — Park City Rally Racing Team, Hoonigan, had not one, not two, but all three members of the Block family racing team. On Saturday, Lia finished 4th and her younger sister Kira 6th and Mika 9th in their respective categories at the Nitrocross Utah event held at the Utah Motorsports Campus.

This, following not only a successful race in Maine a couple weeks ago in the New England Forest Rally for Lia, but also a winning season overall.

On Facebook, Kira and Lia’s mom, Lucy said, “A few weeks ago the @newenglandforestrally was a full roller coaster of emotion. Things went very well for team 430 with great times and constant smiles on day one. It was fun to fly through the stages with what felt like little effort!”

Timingwise, the competition season is coming to the finish line in earnest since school starts for these two, and their younger brother, on Tuesday in the Park City School District.

For math class, Lia can report that she recently reached one million followers on Instagram.
