Hats off to the Park City Song Summit: JW Bennett pop-up and artist-designed custom hat
PARK CITY, Utah — JW Bennett is ready to rock out with the Park City Song Summit (PCSS) by offering custom hat-fitting at the Welcome Dinner on Wednesday, September 6, at 5 p.m. in the Forum Tent in Canyons Village.
“PCSS is a special community event that we are honored to be a part of. We will be offering the custom hat-fitting experience (shaping, styling, and branding) as guests arrive and enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the welcome dinner.”
In contribution to the festival’s mission to cultivate community and shed light on artistry and mental health, JW Bennett will be hosting a trunk show at the festival’s welcome dinner. A portion of JW Bennett’s sales at this pop-up will be donated to the More Than Music Foundation. A custom-designed, ready-to-wear hat in collaboration with artist John Bukaty will also be donated to the art auction benefiting the foundation.
Doors to the Welcome Dinner open at 5 p.m., with the reception beginning at 6 p.m. A special performance by Lukas Nelson will follow at 8 p.m.
With roots in Wyoming, and stores in Jackson Hole and Park City, JW Bennett hats are handcrafted using the highest quality materials and designed for the modern man and woman. Each hat is custom fitted to the wearer and uniquely styled by choosing an assortment of hand-loomed beaded bands and other accessories. Leave with a timeless piece that reflects both your personality and the uniqueness of the mountain lifestyle.
Behind JW Bennett are Sarah Kjorstad and Lara Azria-Reucassel. The brand pays tribute to Kjorstad’s ranching heritage in Wyoming while her craft honors the long-standing and barely changed tradition of hatting. From the range of shades to iconic shapes and whimsical details, the brand fuses traditional designs with a desire to create a contemporary, beautifully handcrafted hat. Each hat is handcrafted in Jackson using traditional western hatting equipment and the highest quality felts.
