SNAPPED: Watch as K-9 dog bites PCPD officer for Citizen’s Police Academy presentation

PARK CITY, Utah — Students of the Park City Police Department’s (PCPD) Citizen’s Police Academy got a special presentation prior to their graduation last week.

“This week we were proud to graduate the latest class of the Citizen’s Police Academy,” said a statement from the PCPD. “By all accounts, the group enjoyed learning about the difficult job our officers must do every day to keep citizens safe. One of the highlights of their learning experience was watching an officer in charge, Terry Knechtel, get bit by a law enforcement K-9 dog four times.”

The students were also able to tour the Summit County Jail, lean about crime scene investigations and traffic stops, and experience a presentation from the SWAT team as a part of the Citizen’s Police Academy.
