‘Mothing Night’ July 25 at Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter

PARK CITY, Utah— Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter has invited the public to “Mothing Night” on July 25.

Described as a fun night for all ages, guests are invited to join in the fun as you explore the captivating world of moths and other nocturnal fliers. You’ll attract and observe these fascinating creatures and their insect companions using a blacklight and a white sheet.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting experience of “mothing,” using nothing more than a light and a sheet. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, you’ll be mesmerized by the diverse shapes and vibrant colors of these nighttime wonders.

Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring their own blankets, pillows or camp chairs. Swaner will provide hot cocoa and light snacks for all mothing enthusiasts.

This free event will be held from 9-11 p.m. at Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, at 1258 Center Drive, Park City, 84098.
