Lightning strike causes small brush fire in Wallsburg

WALLSBURG, Utah — A brush fire caused by a lightning strike burned 1/10 of an acre in Wallsburg yesterday.

“Wasatch Fire was paged to a brush fire in Wallsburg. BC5, Eng 53, Amb 53, 1L510, Brush 53, Brush 51, along with Wasatch County Sheriffs Department responded and were able to quickly put the fire out,” said a statement from Wasatch Fire. “With the high heat and low moisture the last several weeks the fire danger is increasing.”
