Hogle Zoo to host Wild Aware Day July 29

SALT LAKE CITY —Attention outdoor enthusiasts in Utah, join the Hogle Zoo for Wild Aware Day on Saturday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to learn how to ‘recognize, avoid, and protect Utah’s precious habitats, native species, and natural predators.’

Participants will get to interact with experienced keepers and Wild Aware resource partners who will guide them in identifying scat and tracks during their outdoor activities.

Crafts, activities, and keeper chats will celebrate Utah’s unique and diverse native species.

Additionally, you’ll receive exclusive updates on the upcoming Wild Utah exhibit, set to open in spring 2024.

Admission is included with general zoo admission or membership.
