Francis residents can resume outdoor watering, new city water pump operational
FRANCIS, Utah — The Francis City government has announced that residents may resume outdoor watering, as of Thursday, July 20.
The city government had asked residents to cease all outdoor watering late last week, due to “critically low” water tank levels.
“Outdoor watering is allowed. Thank you for your patience as we worked through this frustrating issue,” said a statement from the Francis City government. “The new pump is operational at Woodland Hills and the temporary pump for the new Francis is also online and operational since the test results for bacteria came back negative.”
The city has asked residents to resume the following normal outdoor watering schedule:
- No watering between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- No watering on Sunday
- Watering may only be done on alternate days as follows: Even numbered houses on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, odd numbered houses on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
