Ducklings rescued from storm drain, reunited with mother
PARK CITY, Utah – At approximately 6:30 p.m., emergency personnel was dispatched to a concerned mamma duck pacing back and forth by a drainage grate and quacking on Landmark Drive.
The Summit County Sheriff’s office was on scene first and had removed the storm drain grate by the time Park City Fire District Engine 33 arrived. The firefighters successfully rescued seven baby ducklings out of the culvert and they are all in good health. The ducklings have all be reunited with their mother and have all learned a valuable lesson.
