Black Bear relocated after being spotted in Summit County resident’s tree

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah – A one- to two-year-old male back bear weighing 80 to 100 pounds has been relocated from a tree on private property in Oakley, Utah. The bear was in a populated area with lots of domestic goats and sheep. The bear has been moved to a remote part of Weber Canyon and has been released into great bear habitat.
