USU to host online workshop on trout-friendly landscaping
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Whether it be agriculture or a yard at a local home, all water eventually ends up in streams, rivers, and reservoirs. Many of the tools, such as fertilizer used to maintain a yard, can be harmful to water quality and other aspects of ecosystems downstream.
Utah State University is hosting an online event to help the community in making more environmentally friendly choices when it comes to maintaining their lawns. The event is scheduled to take place on April 17 at 6 p.m. Registration for the event can be found at this link.
