Recycle Utah and Wasatch Brew Pub celebrate Earth Day
PARK CITY, Utah — Recycle Utah is celebrating the 53rd Earth Day on April 22, 2023, at Wasatch Brew Pub, 250 Main St, Park City, 5-8 p.m., with food, drinks, and a silent auction featuring local businesses. This is a 21+ event.
Celebrated on April 22 every year, Earth Day began as a collective effort to bring attention to the need for the conservation and protect our planet’s natural resources. It all started with universities hosting “national teach-ins” across the US in order to spread awareness of environmental issues — an endeavor still embraced today.
“Our 2023 Earth Day Celebration will include food, drinks, and a silent auction featuring local businesses, all in support of our education program,” said Addison Marr, communications and development director for Recycle Utah. “The Earth Day Auction is Live Now! Anyone can bid online now, but the auction moves in-person at the Earth Day Celebration.”
At Recycle Utah, every day is Earth Day. They take pride in their commitment to protecting natural resources and educating the next generation about how their actions can impact Mother Nature. With over four million recycled pounds each year and outreach programs that teach water conservation and climate change to 5,000 elementary students.
