PC Community Education’s Compass summer classes catalog available
PARK CITY, Utah — Since life is a non-stop learning experience, The Park City Community Education Department (PCCE) offers classes for all ages, from pre-k to adults.
Under the umbrella of the The Park City School District, the nonprofit, year-round PCCE has classes to help develop new skills and talents for work or pleasure. They guarantee that their professional teachers, reasonable prices and solid content will work well for all Parkites.
Just released is the summer Compass edition with some new things going on. Jane Toly is the leisure learning coordinator for the Compass. She told TownLift, “This year we’re proud to have hired teachers who have graduated from Park City High School.”
Programs are open to everyone in the community. The Community Education brochure, The Compass, is mailed to homes three times per year for fall, winter/spring, and summer sessions. In addition, brochures are available at schools, libraries, and in the district office. Check the Aquatic Center for programs for all ages, including water fitness and swim lessons.
Toly said, “It’s great to have our famous cooking classes back open after the pandemic.”
Toly also told TownLift, “There’s a new offering around the classic game of chess called Power Chess.”
She also explained that, “This summer’s Compass’s brand new registration system promises to be simple and efficient to register for all of Park City’s favorite camps, clinics, and classes.”
