PARK CITY, Utah — As snow continues to fall around the state, areas typically used for snow storage are filling up. To combat this, crews from Park City Municipal will be hauling snow away starting Wednesday and ending on Monday, December 19.
Main Street, Swede Alley, and Lower Park Avenue from Heber Avenue to S.R. 224 will be targeted Wednesday and Thursday for snow removal. Prospector Business District, the Top of Royal Street at Silver Lake Village, and Swede Alley will be done on Monday.
Park City operates on a priority list ranging from first to third-priority roads. During the winter, snow removal crews are available 24 hours a day as the city works to keep streets safe. State Roads 224 and 248 are maintained by the Utah Department of Transportation.

Like many transplants to Utah, Kevin started his journey to Park City as a ski instructor in 2014 and fell in love with the mountains enough to stay. A skier since the age of 2 and a half, he still gets excited about carving turns down the slopes and hopping into the powder on snow days.
Kevin's passion for storytelling and photography led him to a second bachelor's degree focused on communications and fine art photography from the University of Utah. Paired with his first undergrad in ecology from Oklahoma State University, Kevin particularly enjoys writing environmental and nature stories. In his spare time, you can usually find him in his jeep looking for wildlife and landscapes to photograph.
