Deer Valley hosts the 2023 Freestyle International Ski World Cup
PARK CITY, Utah — The 2023 Intermountain Healthcare Freestyle International Ski World Cup returns to prime time under the lights at Deer Valley Resort, February 2-4, 2023. The world’s most talented athletes in moguls and aerials will compete on the resort’s esteemed slopes in front of a crowd of eager spectators for three nights of unrivaled entertainment.
“What a privilege it is to host the Intermountain Healthcare Freestyle International Ski World Cup on our world-class slopes,” said Deer Valley Resort President and COO Todd Bennett in a statement. “The bright lights and evening atmosphere bring such a spirited energy to the athletes and crowds, and we’re thrilled to create such a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.”

Each evening of events will showcase a spectacle of talent, including competitions in aerials, moguls, and dual moguls, one of the latest disciplines to be added to the Winter Olympics. Deer Valley-sponsored athletes to watch include mogul skier and Park City native Nick Page, a 2022 Olympian, 2021 Moguls National Champion, and 2021 FIS Rookie of the Year, and fellow 2022 Olympian, Junior World Champion, and 2022 FIS Rookie of the Year, mogul skier Cole McDonald.
The 2023 Intermountain Healthcare Freestyle International marks 25 years that Deer Valley Resort has hosted elite international ski competitions. In addition to the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, Deer Valley has been the home for freestyle skiing events including the 2003, 2011, and 2019 World Championships and 20 World Cups. Deer Valley Resort’s legacy as a signature arena for elite competition continues each year thanks to the resort’s world-class guest service on every front.

Friday, February 3, 2023: Aerials
Saturday, February 4, 2023: Dual Moguls
General admission to the events is free and open to the public.
Guests looking for an enhanced spectator experience may purchase Champion Packages or Freestyle Feast Tickets starting at 10 a.m. MT on Monday, November 28, 2022, here. New this year, the Champion Package includes a welcome reception, access to the VIP tent each event night, a course tour, ski lift tickets for three days, and a VIP gift package, valid for two guests for $4,000. Freestyle Feast tickets are $200 per person per evening and include a dedicated viewing area, dinner in the VIP tent, commemorative event gift, and chairlift access within close proximity to the competition venue.
