Find the Golden Poop while picking up dog poop at the Run-A-Muk

PARK CITY, Utah — Pet owners who may have missed a moment to pick up their dog’s poop at the Run-A-Muk will have the opportunity to do so in the Basin Rec’s annual Fall Cleanup.

With two miles of hiking trails, it is conceivable that a rogue pile could have been overlooked over the summer as dogs are encouraged to be off-leash in the 43-acre, fenced-in park. Volunteers are sought to join the community of park users for three days of cleanup before the snow arrives for the winter.

Not only are buckets, gloves, and trowels provided, but doggie-related gratis giveaways also greet people at the gate, and the piece de resistance is the Golden Poop. Whoever is the lucky finder of the coveted plastic prop placed among the acreage by the Basin Rec staff is the winner of a prize.

Dogs are welcome to Run-A-Muk during the cleanup.
