PARK CITY, Utah — At approximately 2 p.m. on Monday, Park City Fire District (PCFD) responded to a possible hazmat spill on Little Kate Road.
The building was quickly evacuated and secured. The facility has been ventilated, cleared, and returned to operation. A few employees were evaluated for minor respiratory symptoms.
PCFD’s Hazmat Team entered and were able to contain the small amount of industrial cleaners that were mixed in a custodial closet basin that released a small amount of a noxious but unknown gas.
