PCHS Miners football 2-0 after home win against Maple Mountain

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City High School boys varsity football team beat the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles 27 – 6 on Friday at Dozier Field in Park City. This second win in a row in as many weeks since the beginning of the season lifts the Miners’ overall record in their 5A Region 6 to 2 and 0. Maple Mountain High School is located just south of Provo.

Tied at seven apiece going into the second quarter, the Miners put seven more unanswered points on the board by the end of the second.

The Miners ran with their game momentum, adding six points in the third and repeating that performance in the fourth quarter, leaving Maple Mountain with no response beyond their points posted way back in the first quarter.

PCHS senior Braden Breyer, who also plays lacrosse, had a standout game.

Park City travels north of Logan to play the Green Canyon Wolves on Friday night.
