KAMAS, Utah — Summit County Sheriff Deputies responded to an active burglary in Kamas on Saturday night. 21-year-old Steven Nicholson was arrested in connection with the incident.
Dispatch was notified of the event when the reporting party heard the sound of glass breaking at a Kamas business. Upon arrival, deputies found a broken front glass door and an apparent attempt by the suspect to steal two computer monitors.
Deputies found blood at the scene, along with a backpack allegedly belonging to Nicholson.

Nicholson was found leaving the scene with blood on his hands and clothes. The suspect was arrested and booked on burglary, theft, intoxication, and criminal mischief charges.
