Voting is open for Savor the Cocktail contest

PARK CITY, Utah — The yearly Savor the Cocktail contest from Park City Area Restaurant Alliance has 16 entrees from old and new contenders. The PCARA also launched its Savor the Mocktail contest this year, in which mixologists came up with their best non-alcoholic elixirs.

Bartenders and mixologists from Park City’s restaurants submit their cocktails in hopes of being crowned the best cocktail in town. Anyone over the age of 21 is encouraged to visit each location and try its contender. Vote online for your favorite.

Some new faces in the contest this year is Dos Olas with its blackberry and tequila Mojo cocktail, Après Pendry with the Frenchie, KITA with Chikyu, and the Pool House Bar and Grille’s Rye or Die.

Entries range from fruity to sour and sweet. Mixologists get to show off their skills during this contest and experiment with interesting and popular flavors. Firewood on Main’s entry features matcha, Handle’s Highball has lemon and pear Saccharum, and KITA’s Chikyu has shishito pepper.
