SNAPPED: Well owl be darned

SNYDERVILLE, Utah — For over 20 years, David Winegar has been a professional photographer. One of his most known photos is “Leap of Faith,” of a fox jumping over Mcleod Creek that hangs at the Swaner Nature Preserve and won the International First Award.

“Owls have been a subject I wanted to really focus on this year,” said Winegar. “Finding Owls is hard because they are reclusive, nocturnal, and they typically hide in trees sleeping during the day.”

Winegar has found success in this goal, photographing these Great Horned Owls around Silver Springs.
