Methamphetamine, marijuana, and multiple guns found in Wanship drug bust

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — This morning, Summit County Sheriff’s Detectives executed a search and arrest warrant at a home in Wanship, Utah. Following a 3-month long drug investigation, detectives served the warrant and arrested 26-year-old Wanship citizen, Kylie Tisdale.

At the residence, detectives found methamphetamine, marijuana, and multiple guns. Tisdale is considered a restricted person and is not allowed to possess firearms. There were also two children in the residence. Detectives contacted the Utah Division of Child and Family Services to assist with the care and safety of the two children.

Tisdale was booked into the Summit County Jail on the following charges:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)
  • Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Restricted Person (6 counts)
  • Child Endangerment (2 counts)
