Silver Summit Academy students win “Best in State” at technology competition
PARK CITY, Utah. — Students from Silver Summit Academy were recently awarded the “Best in State” designation for “Engineering in Entertainment” by the Technology Student Association for their participation in the TEAMS competition.
The competition included academically rigorous tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics and Science (TEAMS). The team, which consisted of students Neve Stein, Tess Cronin, and Mac Witt, was mentored and guided by Club Advisor and teacher Quintin Nethercott.
For their accomplishments, the group received a banner to hang in their school, and each student received a digital award badge.
