Meet your newly hired & promoted Park City Police officers

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Police Department (PCPD) recently recognized several accomplishments throughout their unit with the swearing in and promotion of several officers.

With a collection of new officers from several different parts of the country, as well as a few locals, PCPD increased the size of their department with a diverse collection of new faces.

“Our officers are here by choice,” Police Chief Wade Carpenter said. “They can work anywhere they want in the state or in the country, and they choose to be here because of the culture. And that’s largely all due to your efforts and the efforts of this community. So we’re very proud. When we select officers, we select officers that are a fit for this community and we’re very fortunate that those that choose to come here have a diverse background and experience.”
