PARK CITY, Utah — Park City boasts some of the most plentiful and versatile dog parks in the state. As such, the seasonal opening of the popular Willow Creek Dog Pond is eagerly awaited by many local dogs and dog owners alike.
Ben Liegert, Basin Rec Parks and Facilities Manager tells TownLift that the free, community dog pond at the Willow Creek Dog Park is scheduled to open in the first week of May.
It closes each winter making way for community ice hockey, while the adjacent dog running/dog apparatus area remains open all winter. Basin Rec maintains two other dog parks and 170 miles of biking/hiking trails throughout Summit County.
