Snowbasin to reopen through Sunday following heavy snowstorm
As a result of the heavy snowstorm earlier this week, Snowbasin Resort will reopen for one final “Bonus Weekend” from Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17. The resort will be opening three lifts and 58 trails to offer guests one final weekend of fresh powder before the ski season officially ends.

โWell, as weโve stated many times before, if we can give our guests more days to ski and ride, we absolutely will. Lucky for all of us, Mother Nature came through, allowing us to safely reopen for a bonus weekend,โ said Davy Ratchford, General Manager of Snowbasin Resort. โI want to thank my staff. Reopening for the weekend is not easy. It takes a dedicated group to make that happen when they were already planning to be off, and Iโm very grateful to have an amazing team that truly cares about our guests and the resort. Please enjoy the weekend and remember to renew your pass before prices go up next week.โ
The resort is offering special pricing online this weekend for those who purchase before the end of day on Thursday. Prices include: $99 for adults, $69 for seniors and $49 for youth.
Additionally, The resort’s services will be adapted for the reopening, with rental and retail shops open for business, but lessons and in-lodge food & beverage will be closed.
This week will also provide the last opportunity for Epic Pass holders to visit Snowbasin before the resort joins the Ikon Pass network next season.
