Salt Lake Bees Baseball home opener snowed out
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Salt Lake Bees had to postpone its home opener due to ‘snow on the field’ on Tuesday against the Las Vegas Aviators at Smith’s Ballpark.
The game was rescheduled for the following day as a newly formed Aviator doubleheader. A similar situation had happened in the season opener in Tacoma earlier in the week when the Bees-Rainier’s game had to be postponed due to a ‘wet’ field.
The Bee’s won four of the seven away games in the Washington series, and have lost the first two home games in the seven-game series against Las Vegas. The series continues this week with Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, Friday with Bee’s Beanie Givaway, Saturday with a Post Game Kids Run, and Sunday with Easter Safe in The SUNday.
Next on the schedule for the minor league Bees will be the Reno A’s followed by the Round Rock Express from Austin, TX.
