Alta Ski Area releases details for 2022-23 season passes

ALTA, Utah — The Alta Ski Area has announced the details for their 2022-23 season passes which are set to release for purchase in early May, shortly after the ski season has concluded.

Before the passes go on sale, Alta will be open daily though April 17 and will reopen for one final weekend from April 22 through the 24.

“Because skiing is at the core of our lift company, it is an Alta tradition to wait until the ski season has come to a close before selling passes for next winter,” their website states.

Adult season passes are priced at $1,199 while young adults, ages 18-25, can purchase passes for $829. Senior prices include $929 for those who are 65-79 while anyone 80+ only has to pay $50. Finally, kids from 7-12 are $359 while 12-17 is $499.

Benefits for season pass holders include five family and friends 25% off All-day Alta ticket discounts, no blackout dates, one free ski day at Snowbird, Deer Valley and Snowbird, discounted Ikon base pass and half-priced skiing at 26 destinations with mountain collective amongst other benefits.

Alta also offers several other ticket packages including a family package, prepaid passes and pay as you ski cards.
