Prickly perpetrator apprehended after home invasion in Jeremy Ranch

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The Summit County Sheriff’s Office was called to a Jeremy Ranch home at 6:30 am Thursday morning after a porcupine made its way inside.
The animal got inside through a non-secured door and snuggled under a child’s crib.
Deputies were able to find a piece of wood and a tote to transport the porcupine safely. None of the family members were injured.
