Two new members appointed to the Snyderville Basin Planning Commission

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — At the Summit County Council meeting on Wednesday, DJ Hubler and Tyann Mooney were named to the Snyderville Basin Planning Commission, and current commissioner Christopher Conabee term’s was extended until 2025.

Hubler lives in Pinebrook and has been a resident of Summit County for six years, according to his application. He is currently the director of regional operations at McKinstry, where he has served in different roles for nearly a decade. He graduated with a MS in Building Energy Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2009, per his LinkedIn.

He replaces Crystal Simons, and his term will run until 2025.

Mooney lives in Glenwild and has been a Summit County resident since 2009. In her application, she cited her experience as both a land developer and a lawyer representing developers. Because she is replacing Ryan Dickey, who was recently appointed to the Park City Council, her term will expire in 2024.

The Snyderville Basin Planning Commission meets regularly at 6 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The group has the final say on conditional use permits in Snyderville Basin, and also works on the general plan and makes recommendations to the Summit County Council.
