Park City’s Nick Page finishes 5th in moguls in the Beijing Olympics
BEIJING — Nick Page came in fifth place today in the Olympic moguls competition in the 2022 Games. Page was born and raised in Park City and has been skiing at Deer Valley Resort since he can remember. The 19-year-old is a member of Wasatch Freestyle, a Youth Sports Alliance team. This first-time-Olympian attends the Winter Sports School in Park City.
Park City’s 18-year-old Cole McDonald finished the competition in 14th.
Page’s final score in Beijing was 78.9 points which put him 4.33 points behind the athlete who won gold, Sweden’s Walter Wallberg. The silver went to Canada’s Mikael Kingsbury and bronze was Japan’s Ikuma Horishima.
During the 2022 World Cup in Park City, Page said at a U.S. Ski and Snowboard press conference “It really starts from when you pull up to Deer Valley. I remember my mom would pick me up from school, I’d get ready in the car, she’d drop me off and I’d go straight to the lift line. And there was a level of, like, dedication in the customer experience here that really makes this place different than every other ski resort in the world.”
