Ice Castles to close in Midway this week
MIDWAY, Utah — Wednesday is the last day for visitors to check out the Ice Castles in Midway at Soldier Hollow, as warm temperatures and sunny skies have forced its closure this week.
The interactive experience features ice-carved tunnels, fountains, slides, frozen thrones, and cascading towers of ice embedded with color-changing LED lights.
The Utah venue, which has been seen on National Geographic, the Travel Channel, Lonely Planet, and Travel and Leisure, has inspired four other locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and New York.
Tickets already purchased can be fully refunded within 7 to 10 days.
