Kiln coworking space expanding to Provo
PROVO, Utah — Flex-office and coworking space Kiln is expanding to a new office in Provo that will open in the fall of 2022.
The 40,000 square foot building will be located in the new River’s Edge on University development located near Brigham Young University (BYU).
The company offers an office space with amenities for individuals and teams of 2 – 50 people. Membership includes access to conference rooms, video and recording studio, theater space, wellness center, and more.
“I have always loved Provo, not only because I was raised here, but also because it has been home to so many impressive founders and companies,” CEO of Kiln Arian Lewis said.
“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce the Kiln community to all the good that this ecosystem already has to offer. We were very impressed with Brighton Development’s vision and creative plan for River’s Edge. What we are building together in Provo will be world-class, showcasing the future of flexible and experiential workspace.”
The company cited the “young active population, strong talent pipeline,” and “dynamic entrepreneurial scene” as its reasons for moving there. Provo is home to companies such as Qualtrics and Vivint.
Kiln opened up in what was an old bowling alley in the Newpark Town Center earlier this year.
“Kiln has done an excellent job at building a center of gravity for the tech ecosystem in Lehi, Salt Lake City, Park City, and Boulder (CO). We have no doubt that they will do the same in Provo,” Managing Partner of Woodley Real Estate Eric Woodley, who was involved in the project, said in a statement.
