Where to get a booster shot
PARK CITY, Utah — With Gov. Spencer Cox’s announcement last week, Utahns 18 and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster dose.
Booster appointments from the Summit County Health Department. (SCHD) are unavailable until December 6 and cannot be scheduled until that date. However, they are available at multiple locations:
- Smith’s
- Fresh Market
- Walgreens
- Walmart
- Intermountain Healthcare
- University of Utah Health

SCHD does not accept walk-ins. To schedule an appointment through SCHD, call one of the three offices:
Vaccine appointments for children ages 5 to 11 for first and second doses are running Wednesday through Saturday at each SCHD location (above).
On Monday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) urged all Americans 18 and older to get booster shots.
