Park City Education Foundation’s Red Apple Gala
PARK CITY, Utah — Each year Parkites get dressed up to show up for students at the fundraiser for the Park City Education Foundation (PCEF), The Red Apple Gala.
On Saturday, The Montage at Deer Valley hosted the black-tie optional nighttime event where tickets had been purchased by community members for cocktails, dining, dancing, and silent and live auction bidding, presented by Zions Bank with help from The Lewis Family Foundation along with Windermere Real Estate.
PCEF wrote on its website, “Thank you to the Red Apple Gala Committee; volunteers who work tirelessly to bring you Park City’s favorite fall party!” With special thanks to event chair Mandy Demmert.
Donations were made to the auction by no less than 30 entities including New West Knife Works, Sien + Co., and Park City Mountain. Live auction items included a ride to school for you and all your little friends in a Park City Fire District fire engine truck, a gourmet wine-paired dinner for ten in your home, and a trip to Hawaii.
PCEF Funds initiatives that inspire all Park City students to successfully reach their academic and lifelong potential. Just a few of its programs are: Preschool, Elementary Visual Arts, Afterschool, and STEM.
The Red Apple Gala is one of three events during each school year put on by PCEF, Beat The Call just wrapped up, and Running With Ed. comes in the Spring.
