Farmer’s Market Spotlight: Daily Rise Coffee

This week is the last Park City Farmer’s Market for the season.

Ben Oloffson is the owner and heart behind the Park City branch of Daily Rise Coffee. Ben and his wife worked together at Daily Rise for 12 years. “She interviewed me, and then we fell in love,” Ben says.

About a year ago, Ben opened up a Daily Rise Coffee franchise in The Market. Daily Rise Coffee is a mainstay at the Park City Farmer’s Market, and throughout the season, Ben and his team have satiated thirst and need for caffeine. During the busiest days of the farmer’s market, the Daily Rise Coffee food truck made weekly appearances.

Often Ben is the smiling face behind the counter. He explains why he loves selling his coffee at the Park City  Farmer’s Market. “I meet so many people from out of the country. I’ve been a barista for 16 years in Arizona, California, and Utah. I’ve never met more weirdos and interesting people than here in Park City,” he says, “I get great compliments on my beans. All the money in this company goes to the beans.”

Ben beams when he explains that as long as people taste his beans, it’s easy to make new customers and friends.

When the farmer’s market comes to a close, Daily Rise Coffee will still serve up delectable beverages at The Market.
