Farmer’s Market Spotlight: Pyne Farms

Santaquin-based Pyne Farms are apple experts with over 40 years of experience. Ken Pyne is a fourth-generation orchard operator and loves to share his niche apples that aren’t available at the grocery store. Including the Elliott apple, which traces its roots back to Provo in the 1980s. When the farmer’s market winds down, stock up for the months ahead with a box or two of Pyne Farms apples. Ask Ken, and he will help identify apples that store well.

Ken explains why he likes selling his apples at the Park City Farmer’s Market. “I like the farmer’s market because of the people and the feedback… When you sell to a commercial place, you don’t actually get to have that person-to-person interaction.”
