New West KnifeWorks featured in the Wall Street Journal
In April 2021, writer Gabriella Gershenson sang praises about the dexterity of New West KnifeWorks’ USA-made fish spatula in the Wall Street Journal. The response was tremendous and New West ran out of fish spatulas in a few short hours. (It took a few months, but the spatulas are now back in stock.)
“To get this level of appreciation for one of our cooking utensils is justified, but came unexpectedly,” shared Margot from New West’s Marketing team.
Diving into the details of what makes this tool great, the Wall Street Journal wrote, “thin and pliant, it is designed, as the name indicates, to slide under a delicate fillet without flaking it apart, yet it’s sturdy enough to ferry the fish from skillet to plate.”
A few weeks later, more praise rolled in – top YouTube chef knife reviewer, Chef Justin Khanna, produced a video about the New West 8″ G-Fusion Chef Knife. He describes the knife “as feeling like a sports car.” When test driving the knife through a series of cutting board challenges, he reported, “it’s such a nimble and close-to-the-board knife and I love it.”
