National Weather Service says smoke could get worse through Monday

PARK CITY, Utah. — While there are currently no active wildfires burning in Summit County at the time of this posting, smoke from fires over Southern Oregon and Northern California has made its way to Park City. The current Air Quality index for Park City is 111 and is rated as Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.

A recent forecast model from the National Weather Service says it could get worse. This model loop below shows the smoke forecast from 3pm today through noon Monday. Darker reds and purple indicate higher concentrations of smoke.
