HEBER VALLEY, Utah. — Robert Redford put the Horse Whisper Ranch on the market this week. The 30-acre ranch is located in Charleston. It is named after the 1998 movie The Horse Whisperer.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Redford purchased the property in 1996 as a place for his horses to exercise during the winter months. The ranch is located within 16 miles of Sundance Mountain Resort, which was purchased in 1969 by Redford. The Sundance Resort is where Robert founded the Sundance Institute in 1981 (The Sundance History).
The property is set near Deer Creek Reservoir with views of Mount Timpanogos. The farm is listed for $4.9 million.
