A 31″ Cutthroat trout sets a record in Bear Lake

BEAR LAKE, Utah. — The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources recently announced that angler Travis Hobbs caught a 31-inch cutthroat trout and set a new catch-and-release record. So this cutty is still out there. Bear Lake also holds two more fish records for Bonneville whitefish. In 2009, Scott Tolentino caught and released a 23.25-inch whitefish. And in 2018, Nathan VanderLinden caught and kept a 4 lbs. 8.96 oz. whitefish. Learn more about record fish caught in Utah.
