Santa Pub Crawl Cancelled, Christian Center of Park City “Operation Hope” Continues
PARK CITY, Utah. — The annual Santa Pub Crawl that takes place at participating bars along Park City’s Main Street is cancelled but there are still ways to participate in “Operation Hope”, the toy drive held by the Christian Center Park City (CCPC) which usually benefits each year from the pub crawl’s toy “entrance fee”.
According to the CCPC website, Operation Hope anticipates serving over 1,500 kids in Summit and Wasatch counties during the 2020 holiday season. Here are a few ways you can contribute this year:
- Make a donation online
- Drop off a new, unwrapped toy to the CCPC’s Main Office from Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Check out an Amazon Wishlist and buy gifts directly online
The 2020 toy drive for Summit County families will be held on-site at CCPC, whereas Wasatch County families will be given gift cards to Walmart, Amazon.com or the local store Wigglish Toys so they can do their own shopping.
“We will absolutely need volunteers. there’s a lot of families to serve,” said Director of Programs, Pete Stoughton in a video about the drive. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Jessica Bryan, Marketing and Volunteer Manager at CCPC.
