First On-Snow Elite Competition in Months Hosted This Weekend by USA Nordic

PARK CITY, Utah — USA Nordic‘s Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined events are scheduled to take place this weekend, Friday, Dec. 11 through Sunday, Dec. 13 at the Olympic Park jumps and Soldier Hollow. This is the first elite-level competition hosted in the Park City area since the pandemic hit. Watch the event’s livestream on USA Nordic’s Facebook page throughout the weekend.

This morning around 10 a.m., USA Nordic announced on Facebook that this morning’s FIS Nordic Combined Continental Cup jump at the Utah Olympic Park was canceled. They did not announce why, but this morning’s wind and low visibility conditions could have caused the cancellation.
