Bridge21 fundraiser brings Nashville songwriters to Park City

Sept. 12 event at the Prospector Theatre aims to raise $75,000 for neuroinclusive housing and support programs in Summit County.

PARK CITY, Utah — Bridge21 Park City will bring Nashville songwriters and an art auction to the Prospector Theatre on Sept. 12 for its second annual Songwriter Sessions fundraiser, to raise $75,000 for housing and support programs for neurodiverse adults in Summit County.

The Saturday evening event will feature original music from Nashville songwriters Steve Bogard, Kylie Sackley and Brian Davis, along with an auction of nearly 40 works by local and national artists. Proceeds will support Bridge21’s efforts to expand affordable, long-term housing for adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The organization’s first neuroinclusive home opened May 1, 2025, in Silver Creek Village and houses four residents. The nonprofit describes its model as providing cognitively accessible housing paired with services intended to help residents live more independently.

“We expect this event to be an amazing night, but not just because of the music, art and great company,” Executive Director Stephanie Polukoff said in a statement. “The adults we serve are learning each day how to live more independently, and we’re seeing that independence grow across our population.”

Polukoff said residents are building independence through work, transportation, and everyday activities that many adults take for granted.

“When you see the smiles on our residents’ faces when they talk about their jobs, using their bikes to get places and more, you recognize the value in our work,” she said.

Bridge21 was formed to address a shortage of housing options for adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to remain in the Park City and Summit County community. Its housing model combines affordability with design features and support services intended to meet residents’ cognitive and accessibility needs.

The organization says its current residents live and work in Summit County and participate in local employment and social activities.

Bridge21’s longer-term plans include expanding beyond its first home. The nonprofit says it aims to develop three properties housing 12 residents by 2027.

The Sept. 12 fundraiser will begin with an art auction and cocktail reception, followed by a Nashville-style songwriter round featuring Bogard, Sackley and Davis. Bogard is a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee whose songs have been recorded by artists including George Strait, Rascal Flatts and Reba McEntire. Sackley has written songs recorded by artists including LeAnn Rimes, Alan Jackson and Sam Hunt, while Davis has written songs recorded by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Jason Aldean.
