PROVO, Utah — Breeze Airways is changing the travel game again – this time with a fresh approach to airline loyalty that is both simple and rewarding.

Breeze Airways started flying five years ago and has rapidly expanded to 88 cities and more than 330 nonstop routes across the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. The airline’s unique business model is centered around coupling low fares with high-value offerings, such as premium seating on a fleet of brand-new A220-300 aircraft.

This past January, the airline introduced its first loyalty program, Breezy Rewards. The program’s structure is built on the idea that both frequent and infrequent travelers deserve to unlock valuable, transparent benefits while quickly accumulating BreezePoints, the airline’s single loyalty currency. Today, Breezy Rewards Members earn BreezePoints on fares, bundles, and trip add-ons, then redeem those points for future travel. Each BreezePoint is worth at least $0.01 but can also be worth more on certain dates and flights. BreezePoints earn and level progress can be accelerated even faster with the airline’s co-branded credit card, the Breeze Easy® Visa Signature® card.

The Breezy Rewards Levels

The airline, which positions itself as Seriously Nice™, was mindful to steer clear of traditional airline loyalty program lingo like “status” and “tiers” and to instead focus on creating a simple step ladder centered on simplicity and transparency. Once a Breezy Rewards account is created, Members can immediately start earning BreezePoints from eligible purchases while enjoying the baseline Breeze benefits, including free family seating and no change fees.

From there, Breezy Rewards Members can track their progression through the four different levels: Breezy 1, Breezy 2, Breezy 3, and Breezy Club.

Each level unlocks increasingly valuable perks ranging from priority boarding and free inflight WiFi to Bundle Upgrades and travel companion discounts.

The Breezy Rewards Benefits

At every level, benefits are designed to give Members an even better day-of travel experience, along with perks such as accelerated earning opportunities and the option to customize their portfolio of perks as they ascend through the levels.

Two of the most popular program elements are the Bundle Upgrades and Buddy Discounts. Bundle Upgrades are one-way upgrades that can be redeemed once a Nice or Nicer Bundle has been purchased, giving the Guest more bags, better seats, and more. The best part? Upgrades can be used on any Breeze flight and are guaranteed as soon as they are applied – no endless and unpredictable waiting lists.

Buddy Discounts are one of three Breezy Select Benefits that can be tacked on starting at Breezy 2. Unlike other airline loyalty programs which require program participants to designate a single travel companion for the duration of the eligibility period, the multi-use discount (ranging from 25% at Breezy 2 to 50% at Breezy 3 and 100% at Breezy Club) is automatically applied to any one additional traveler on the Member’s reservation. This flexible and friendly discount applies to eligible base fares and excludes taxes and fees.

Nonstop Earning Potential from Provo

Breeze began flying from Provo International Airport in 2022 and has quickly expanded to offer nonstop service to 10 destinations, including Washington Dulles International Airport. The thrice-weekly flights to IAD give Utah locals a convenient and affordable way to visit our nation’s capital, which is currently marking the 250th anniversary of America’s founding with a full calendar of events, exhibits, and festivities throughout the summer.

In 2024, Breeze introduced its first co-branded credit card, the Breeze Easy® Visa Signature®. With the Breeze Easy Visa, cardmembers can double their earn on eligible Breeze purchases. This translates to earning up to 10X BreezePoints on Nicer and Nicest Bundles, up to 4X on Nice Bundles, 2X on eligible dining and grocery, and 1X on all other purchases. Additional card perks include BreezePoints that never expire, and complimentary WiFi and priority boarding on all Breeze-operated flights.
