The expected water temperature in June, is traditionally between 58-64 degrees.

Racers in need of support while in the water, can wave a hand/arm, or swim to the nearest support team member. They may hold on to any support vessel without penalty as long as there is no forward movement. If water levels are low, we will have an optional shoe drop zone for folks who would prefer the run to the transition with shoes, flip-flops, etc.

“Litter could jeopardize the life of this, and any other event. In addition to littering not being cool, USAT officials may give you a time penalty for littering on the race course,” writes organizers on the event website.

Spectators will park at Francis Fairgrounds, ride the shuttle to the park, and pay $7 per person for the shuttle.

Age-Group Awards will be given to the top three male and female in each of the following age-groups: 19&under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+, Clydesdale, and Athena.
