PARK CITY, Utah — Park City School District is asking families to weigh in on proposed changes to the Friday early release schedule for the 2026-27 school year.
The district sent a survey to families on Thursday, seeking feedback on adjustments intended to give staff more preparation and collaborative planning time while preserving the time bus drivers need to complete school routes.
The survey will remain open through Thursday, June 4. District officials said results will be summarized and shared with the Park City Board of Education before its final vote on Tuesday, June 16.
Families are asked to review the district’s Friday Release Times Proposal before completing the survey, which the district said should take less than five minutes.
The proposed schedule change comes as the district continues to balance instructional time, staff planning needs, and transportation logistics across its schools.
Families can complete the survey here.
