Police Log: Target shooting near Richardson Flat; porch package theft

Multiple DUI arrests were reported across the Summit County area this week, including a driver found asleep behind the wheel at a Park and Ride and another involved in an injury crash. Monday, March 16

Incident: DUI
A man was arrested for driving under the influence after being found asleep in the driver’s seat of a pickup truck parked at the Ecker Hill Park and Ride. The vehicle was in gear, and the driver showed signs of intoxication and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.

Incident: Non-injury accident
Two vehicles were involved in a crash near Park Avenue and Deer Valley Drive. The vehicles were moved into a nearby parking lot. No injuries were reported.

Incident: Traffic hazard
A vehicle stalled in the intersection at Lucky John Drive and Little Kate Road, blocking traffic.
