Garage fire destroys structure in Coalville early this morning

Coalville, UTAH — A garage fire broke out around 3:20 a.m. Thursday on the 200 block of 50 North in Coalville, resulting in a total loss of the structure. According to North Summit Fire District, the building was already heavily involved when crews arrived.
Firefighters from North Summit, with assistance from Park City Fire District, quickly worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Battalion Chief Tyler Rowser credited the joint effort, saying, “Our crews, along with our partners from Park City Fire District, did an outstanding job working together in challenging early-morning conditions. We’re thankful no one was hurt, and we appreciate the community’s support as we work to determine the cause.”
